In the summer of 2021 I was asked to photograph 6 different fire stations by 4 completely different clients. One of our architectural clients hired me to shoot a dozen completed projects over the course of a year which included several police and fire stations. Another client asked us to shoot a newly installed fountain walk adjacent to a fire station that incorporated their brick products. Turns out that firehouse was also designed by the architects I was already working for, but had photographed prior to hiring me. While arranging to shoot the fountain & garden the Fire Chief asked to hire me to make a new photo of the firehouse more to his liking. Then out of the blue a contractor contacted and hired me to photograph another fire station they had just completed. I learned quite a bit about the design and operation of a fire house that summer.
